Robert Eujean Ogden ~ MFA is a filmmaker and music producer based in San Francisco, CA.  In his decade long career in the arts he has worked for production companies such as DreamWorks Animation, Ikoya Productions, and Fox TV’s Nanny 911.

At DreamWorks Animation he worked with Academy Award Nominees producer on principal film Megamind.  He also assisted on sequences in Kung Fu Panda 2 and How To Train Your Dragon as well as assistant produced the animation sequences for Broadway’s hit, Shrek The Musical.  At Ikoya Productions he was Set Dresser on award winning indie horror film, Crazy Eights.  The film won SciFi Channel’s After Dark Horror Fest and featured in SciFi’s “8 Films to Die For.”

In 2015, Ogden founded What A Day Productions within the sacred music halls of San Francisco's historical and legendary Hyde Street Studios.  Hyde has been home to such amazing artists as The Grateful Dead, James Brown, Jimi Hendrix, Parliament Funkadelic, Paul Simon, Green Day, Jefferson Airplane, STS9, 2Pac and the list is a never ending story.  At Hyde, he rented a studio in Studio B where he mixed the studio album Love Things from Moore Mapp Records' recording artist, Azalove.  The album features greats Angelo Moore of Fishbone, Keno Mapp of Heart Touch, Victoria Theodore of the Stevie Wonder band and many more.

In 2014 he began writing and producing the debut album for his musical endeavor, Swallow Key.  The off-the-cuff dance conscious project is available on all streaming platforms. His previous music projects include Puma Reflex, and The Cold Club.  Several Swallow Key EP's and LP's were self-recorded Studio B Hyde Street Studios, in Costa Rica, and Paris.

Since 2013 Robert began teaching in his spare time at San Francisco’s School of Audio Engineering Institute, San Francisco.  At SAE he conducted lectures and demonstrations on industrial techniques from sound design for motion pictures to music production recording.  He received his 4 year Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2004 majoring in Film and Television in the schools of Directing, Producing, and Writing.  His BFA carries with it the minor studies of sound design, sculpture, and art history.

Robert is a dedicated lover of the arts.  He enthusiastically studies the history of cinema, theater, and most arts under the sun.  He is inspired by the realm of the beautifully bizarre and fascinated by mechanics of anatomical movement and human expression of all accounts. He enjoys every moment of his artistic career and wishes to return this joy to audiences and affiliates alike.  So it is under many a creative guise Robert hopes to contribute a positive impact.

Since counting syllables on his fingers as a child, Robert has delighted in the arrangement of words. His mission in life is to help others with his arts. With the completion of his first book in 2025, he has pulled focus to his lifelong passion and embarked on the adventure of writing. His debut book Eclipse of the Mourning Star is being published through the publishing imprint of What a Day Productions!
